Procurement, Admin and Bookkeeping Officer

The Namibian Foundation for the Conservation of Seabirds (NAMCOB) is seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Procurement, Admin and Bookkeeping Officer.

This position is based in Windhoek for the first 6 months, then Lüderitz, Namibia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support NAMCOB's establishment and strategic vision.
  • Perform procurement, secretarial services, fleet management, bookkeeping, finance, and clerical support.

Requirements:

  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
  • Passion for people and the environment.

Contract: Initial one-year, renewable based on performance. Funds secured for at least four years.

The Namibian Foundation for the Conservation of Seabirds (NAMCOB) is excited to announce an internship opportunity for individuals who are dedicated to preserving our marine ecosystems and seabird populations.

This position is based in Lüderitz.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform clerical duties like filing, data entry, and document preparation.
  • Assist with the ocean literacy program delivery.
  • Support project planning and implementation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum qualification of Grade 10; Grade 12 will be an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated interest in marine and coastal conservation or community development.
  • Demonstrated commitment to environmental stewardship and a desire to make a positive impact in the local community.
